Lamb hitting 3rd looks strange, but he has good numbers against Morris for his career. I'd like to see Lane and Munson get a little USC offense going. Let's hope Brandon Backe can keep the ball over the plate.

Burke, Taveras, and Lamb go down in order on 8 pitches in the top of the 1st. Backe walks Winn leading off and it's not looking great. But he gets Vizquel to fly out and then gets Durham to GIDP to Everett so Bonds has to lead off the next inning. Nice job, Brandon. Keep throwing strikes.
